Saturday, August 22 from 11 am to 4 pm there is the
All-Ivy Summer Picnic at the Haffenreffer Estate in Bristol, RI.
This event is good for those with young families as well as older
and younger alumni without families. There are plenty of ocean front
gassy fields to play on as well as a talk on Charles Darwin, natural
selection, and today's politics by Brown Professor Kenneth Miller.
Contact Ginny McQueen (Brown University coordinator) at gtmcq@yahoo.com for
more information.
Saturday, October 3 from 9 am to 4 pm PAARI has organized
a guided canoe trip down the Wood River in Richmond. Contact Kristin
DeKuiper at kristin.dekuiper@hklaw.com or 401-781-8147. You'll need
to be on location at 9 am sharp.
