I strongly encourage Princeton alumni in Rhode Island and the boardering Massachusetts communities who are interested in receiving information about our alumni group's events to register their email address with the University. The University keeps this list current and has a program that allows me to generate "broadcast email" for our members. Broadcast email is extremely useful for keeping our 500 members informed. It also allows me send out "planning" memos and "reminder" memos. Nevertheless, I will continue to send out regular mailings to those who don't have emails registered.

Some may have privacy concerns. Please be assured that the University has the strictest privacy policies regarding the use of its alumni email listing. You will probably receive one or two University emails per month, a small imposition in exchange for being in communication with the PAARI. Furthermore, a broadcast email is free and effortless, while a mailing costs approximately $150 and requires me to run around for stationery, photocopying, and the bulk mailer.
